The Ins and Outs of Optical Fiber Cable Installation

Several factors are driving the popularity of optical fiber cabling. Chief among those is the growth of high-tech applications that require the massive bandwidth fiber-optic cabling makes possible. Further adding to the popularity of optical fiber is its immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI). Fiber is now showing up in “home runs” for voice, data transfer, process control, and machine control.
